WHEREAS, Women's History Month is held in March to celebrate | ||
the myriad contributions made by women in every field and facet of | ||
our society, and this observance provides a fitting opportunity to | ||
recognize the exemplary service of Dr. Jeannie Meza-Chavez; and | ||
WHEREAS, Dr. Meza-Chavez has distinguished herself through | ||
her dedicated efforts as superintendent of the San Elizario | ||
Independent School District, and the skill and professionalism she | ||
has demonstrated in this important role have earned her the respect | ||
and admiration of her fellow Texans; and | ||
WHEREAS, Through her deep commitment to her duties, | ||
Dr. Meza-Chavez greatly benefits the students, faculty, and staff | ||
she serves, and her achievements make her a worthy role model for | ||
other women in education; and | ||
WHEREAS, The Lone Star State is fortunate to have passionate | ||
and engaged leaders like Dr. Jeannie Meza-Chavez, and she may take | ||
justifiable pride in her contributions and in the inspiring example | ||
she has set for others; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby commend Dr. Jeannie Meza-Chavez for her service | ||
as superintendent of the San Elizario Independent School District | ||
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all | ||
her endeavors; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Dr. Meza-Chavez as an expression of high regard by the | ||
Texas House of Representatives. | ||
