| WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced | ||
| by a great and enduring love, Carriel and Jannette Nipp celebrated | ||
| their 60th wedding anniversary on December 29, 2010; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Nipp were joined in matrimony in 1950 at | ||
| a ceremony held in Altus, Oklahoma; they shared in the joy of | ||
| welcoming five children into their family, and they cherish the | ||
| time they spend with their 13 grandchildren at their home on Possum | ||
| Kingdom Lake; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. and Mrs. | ||
| Nipp owned and operated Snowhite Laundry and Linen Service in | ||
| Midland for nearly 50 years; and | ||
| WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past six | ||
| decades, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant in | ||
| their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love has | ||
| enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace | ||
| and optimism; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Carriel and Jannette Nipp on their | ||
| 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for | ||
| continued happiness; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Nipp as an expression of high regard by | ||
| the Texas House of Representatives. | ||
