| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 24, Government Code, is | ||
| amended by adding Sections 24.60024 and 24.60099 to read as | ||
| follows: | ||
| Sec. 24.60024. 477TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT (HIDALGO COUNTY). | ||
| The 477th Judicial District is composed of Hidalgo County. | ||
| Sec. 24.60099. 476TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT (HIDALGO COUNTY). | ||
| The 476th Judicial District is composed of Hidalgo County. | ||
| SECTION 2. The 476th and 477th Judicial Districts are | ||
| created on the effective date of this Act. | ||
| SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. | ||
