Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 8.01-27.6 as follows:

§8.01-27.6. Duty to comply with terms and conditions of personal motor vehicle insurance policy; age of party seeking coverage.

Any party, regardless of the age of such party, seeking liability coverage under a personal motor vehicle insurance policy pursuant to § 38.2-2204, shall comply with the terms and conditions of such insurance policy, including the duty to cooperate in any investigation of a claim in which liability coverage is sought.
