Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia: 1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 15.2-967.1 as follows: §15.2-967.1. Regulation of certain transportation services. A local transportation service that operates as a nonprofit organization and that primarily serves senior citizens and disabled citizens shall be exempted from any local license tax imposed upon taxicab services and other for-hire transportation services. |
