A BILL to amend and reenact §16.1-69.35:2 of the Code of
Virginia, relating to recording of proceedings in district courts; juvenile and
domestic relations court.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That §16.1-69.35:2 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:
§16.1-69.35:2. Recording of proceedings in district courts.
An audio recording of proceedings in a general district court or juvenile and domestic relations district court may be made by a party or his counsel.
