CHAPTER 8 An Act to amend and reenact §10.1-1157 of the Code of Virginia, relating to the Department of Forestry; hunting and trapping violations. [H 940] Approved February 26, 2010

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That §10.1-1157 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§10.1-1157. Punishment for violations.

Any person who hunts or traps in violation of any provision of this article, or in violation of restrictions and conditions imposed by the State Forester pursuant to the provisions of §10.1-1153 shall be guilty of a Class 1 3 misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished accordingly.
