WHEREAS, Staff Sergeant Britney Phillips, VA ANG, was selected as the 2023 Outstanding Airman of the Year by the Virginia Air National Guard; and
WHEREAS, the Virginia Air National Guard provides reserve elements to the United States Air Force and serves as the aerial component of the Virginia National Guard, protecting the skies over the Commonwealth through the outstanding contributions of members like Britney Phillips; and
WHEREAS, Britney Phillips serves as an all-source program manager for the 192nd Intelligence Squadron, 192nd Operations Group, 192nd Wing at Joint Base Langley-Eustis; and
WHEREAS, Britney Phillips also supports the 497th Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group as the all-source tactician; and
WHEREAS, Britney Phillips received this prestigious honor at the Virginia Air National Guard's annual awards ceremony in February 2023; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend Staff Sergeant Britney Phillips, VA ANG, on the occasion of her selection as the 2023 Outstanding Airman of the Year; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Staff Sergeant Britney Phillips, VA ANG, as an expression of the General Assembly's admiration for her outstanding service to the Commonwealth.
