WHEREAS, Bobby Nichols has served the Bedford County community for many years as a farmer and business owner; and
WHEREAS, Bobby Nichols has been farming since the 1980s and grows numerous staple crops that are essential for food production; and
WHEREAS, Bobby Nichols also owns B.L. Nichols Logging, Inc., which operates primarily in the area around Huddleston; and
WHEREAS, through his leadership in the forest products industry, Bobby Nichols plays an important role in the creation of countless items that Virginians use every day; and
WHEREAS, Bobby Nichols has been an outstanding steward of the Commonwealth's natural resources and has played an important role in the region's agricultural economy; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Bobby Nichols hereby be commended for his service to the Bedford County community as a farmer and logger; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Bobby Nichols as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for his contributions to the Commonwealth's agricultural sector.
