WHEREAS, KeyWest Lock & Safe, a locally owned and operated business in Virginia Beach, has met the access control and safe storage needs of residential, commercial, maritime, and government clients for more than 25 years; and
WHEREAS, established in 1999, KeyWest Lock & Safe remains the only full-service locksmith shop in Virginia Beach; and
WHEREAS, with more than 40 years of total locksmith experience, KeyWest Lock & Safe offers a wide range of services for homeowners, from lock repairs and key duplication to deadbolt installations and rekeying services; and
WHEREAS, KeyWest Lock & Safe provides numerous automotive locksmith services, working with both cut keys and key fobs, and specializes in crafting keys for boats and watercraft; and
WHEREAS, KeyWest Lock & Safe also sells and services a variety of safes and maintains a staff of highly trained technicians who can advise on safe installation, moving, opening, and repairs; and
WHEREAS, KeyWest Lock & Safe offers tailored solutions on master keying, access control, and key control systems for commercial and government clients and works with clients in the financial industry on vaults, bank locks, ATM security systems, and emergency response; and
WHEREAS, KeyWest Lock & Safe has built strong relationships with other local businesses and members of the community and maintains an emergency technician on call 24/7 for emergency situations; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That KeyWest Lock & Safe hereby be commended on the occasion of its 25th anniversary in 2024; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Mark West, owner of KeyWest Lock & Safe, as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the company's outstanding service to its clients and contributions to the local economy in Virginia Beach.
