WHEREAS, Jeffrey Joseph, principal of Dominion Trail Elementary School, was selected as a Loudoun County Public Schools Principal of the Year in 2024; and

WHEREAS, Jeffrey Joseph holds a bachelor's degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and a master's degree from Shenandoah University and was hired by Loudoun County Public Schools in 2001; and

WHEREAS, prior to joining the administration of Dominion Trail Elementary School in 2013, Jeffrey Joseph served as an assistant principal at Emerick Elementary School, Pinebrook Elementary School, and Arcola Elementary School; and

WHEREAS, over the course of his long tenure as principal of Dominion Trail Elementary School, Jeffrey Joseph has built strong relationships with students, faculty, and staff based on trust and mutual respect; and

WHEREAS, inspired by life lessons from his own upbringing, Jeffrey Joseph has cultivated a positive and supportive learning environment to ensure that students reach their fullest potential both in and out of the classroom; and

WHEREAS, the prestigious Principal of the Year Award recognizes outstanding administrators like Jeffrey Joseph who have demonstrated excellence in leadership, fostered collaboration and communication, and created an environment in which students and staff can achieve their fullest potential; and

WHEREAS, Jeffrey Joseph received the Principal of the Year Award at the Loudoun County School Board meeting on April 23, 2024, and was subsequently honored at the Outstanding Educators Banquet hosted by the Loudoun Education Foundation; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Jeffrey Joseph hereby be commended on his selection as a Principal of the Year for Loudoun County Public Schools in 2024; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Jeffrey Joseph as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for his achievements in service to young people in Loudoun County.
