WHEREAS, for more than 50 years, James R. Jones Builder, Inc., has provided quality home building and community service in the Tri-Cities region of the Commonwealth; and
WHEREAS, in 1973, James R. Jones founded James R. Jones Builder, Inc., with the visionary goal of constructing affordable, quality homes in the Tri-Cities and the surrounding area; and
WHEREAS, James Jones personally framed each home and purchased one lot at a time, embodying the belief that putting one's name on a home signifies pride, accountability, and a commitment to excellence; and
WHEREAS, over the past 50-plus years, James R. Jones Builder, Inc., has evolved into a respected leader in the development of subdivisions and custom homes that reflect a trademark style built on dedication, experience, and trust; and
WHEREAS, the foundational values established by James Jones have been successfully passed down to his son, ensuring that James R. Jones Builder continues to provide quality materials, superb craftsmanship, and a commitment to excellence in every home constructed; and
WHEREAS, the James R. Jones Builder's dedication to selecting licensed and insured sub-contractors and fostering personal relationships with each client has resulted in homes that are not only structures but cherished spaces where memories are made; and
WHEREAS, James R. Jones Builder's passion for home building was first kindled by Harold L. Jones, affectionately known as “Bud,” whose early endeavors in the 1960s and 1970s laid the groundwork for what has become one of the Tri-Cities' most esteemed home-building legacies; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That James R. Jones Builder, Inc., hereby be commended for its legacy of quality construction for over 50 years; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the leadership of James R. Jones Builder, Inc., as an expression of the House of Delegates' appreciation and admiration for their exemplary service, which builds not only houses, but also lasting foundations for families and communities.
