WHEREAS, Christine L. Marrow, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and treasured member of the Sandston community, died on June 22, 2024; and

WHEREAS, Christine Marrow dedicated herself to supporting her family over the years, contributing greatly to their success and well-being; and

WHEREAS, the child of deacons, Christine Marrow was guided throughout her life by her faith and enjoyed worship and fellowship with her community; and

WHEREAS, preceded in death by her son, Melvin, Jr., Christine Marrow will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by her devoted husband of 74 years, Melvin, Sr.; her children, Bernice, Cynthia, Carolyn, and Bruce; and numerous other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Delegates hereby note with great sadness the loss of Christine L. Marrow, a revered member of the Sandston community whose kindness and generosity touched countless lives; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Christine L. Marrow as an expression of the House of Delegates' respect for her memory.
