WHEREAS, The IncuHub, a company operating innovative co-working spaces that serve business owners and other professionals in both Portsmouth and Hampton, celebrates its fifth anniversary in 2024; and
WHEREAS, founded by Marko and Kristin Frigelj, The IncuHub opened its first co-working space on Seventh Street in Portsmouth in 2019, expanded that location in 2022, and in 2024 opened a second location on Eaton Street in downtown Hampton; and
WHEREAS, The IncuHub offers a range of services, from mailboxes and shared desks to dedicated desks and private offices, in addition to business suites and conference rooms, meeting the needs of its customers at every stage of their business's development; and
WHEREAS, The IncuHub has several in-house partners, including an entrepreneur in residence, an accountant in residence, an attorney in residence, a marketing specialist, and a proposal specialist, supporting its customers in all aspects of their business; and
WHEREAS, both of The IncuHub's locations are in a United States Small Business Administration-certified HUBZone, bringing more business and greater prosperity to historically underutilized business districts; and
WHEREAS, The IncuHub is committed to promoting a sense of community at its co-working spaces in which its members have opportunities to share ideas and learn from one another along their business journeys; and
WHEREAS, in its first five years, The IncuHub has fostered the aspirations of hundreds of business owners, epitomizing the entrepreneurial and enterprising spirit that is a defining characteristic of the Commonwealth; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That The IncuHub hereby be commended on the occasion of its fifth anniversary; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Marko and Kristin Frigelj, owners of The IncuHub, as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the company's accomplishments and best wishes for its continued success.
