A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §20-5-23, relating to providing West Virginia Veterans a 50 percent reduction in fees and charges at state parks.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
ARTICLE 5. PARKS AND RECREATION.
§20-5-23. Discounts for West Virginia Veterans.
The director shall provide to West Virginia citizens who are also honorably discharged veterans, as determined by applicable rules, a 50 percent reduction in all fees and charges including, but not limited to, campground rental fees, lodging, and visitor passes.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to provide a 50 percent reduction in fees and charges relating to state parks for West Virginia veterans.
