A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Board of Medicine to promulgate a legislative rule relating to prohibiting sexual misconduct by health care practitioners.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

ARTICLE 9. Authorization for Department of Miscellaneous agencies and boards to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-9-1. Board of Medicine.

The legislative rule filed in the State Register on July 28, 2022, authorized under the authority of §30-3-14 of this code, relating to the Board of Medicine (prohibiting sexual misconduct by health care practitioners, 11 CSR 16), is authorized.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Board of Medicine to promulgate a legislative rule relating to prohibiting sexual misconduct by health care practitioners.
