An Act
amending title 9, chapter 4, article 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 9-500.50; amending title 11, chapter 2, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 11-269.29; relating to local elections.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 9, chapter 4, article 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 9-500.50, to read:
9-500.50. Bond or budget override; contracting; prohibition
Notwithstanding any other law, if an individual, corporation, partnership, association or other organization makes a contribution to an entity promoting the issuance of a bond or passage of a budget override and the bond is issued or the budget override is approved by a vote of the qualified electors, the individual, corporation, partnership, association or other organization that makes the contribution may not bid on a contract that is funded as a result of the bond or budget override.
Sec. 2. Title 11, chapter 2, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 11-269.29, to read:
11-269.29. Bond or budget override; contracting; prohibition
