AN ACT

 

amending title 38, chapter 3, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 38‑449; relating to display of pow/mia flag.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 38, chapter 3, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 38-449, to read:

START_STATUTE38‑449.  Display of POW/MIA flag

A.  The POW/MIA flag shall be displayed on or in front of the locations prescribed in subsection B on any day when the United States flag is displayed.

B.  The locations for the display of the POW/MIA flag pursuant to subsection A are the following:

1.  The state capitol building.

2.  The building that serves as the location of the superior court in a county.

3.  The building that serves as the city or town hall of each incorporated city or town.

4.  The building that serves as the main administrative building of each county.

C.  The POW/MIA flag shall be displayed with the United States flag in a manner prescribed pursuant to federal law. END_STATUTE
