An Act
amending title 16, chapter 4, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 16-453; relating to conduct of elections.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 16, chapter 4, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 16-453, to read:
16-453. Printers, tabulators, electronic pollbooks; testing conditions
Within fifteen days before any election, the county recorder or other officer in charge of elections shall:
1. For printers that are intended for use in printing ballots or affidavits, or both, at early voting locations, voting centers or polling places, test the printers by using ballot paper that has the same weight and same lengths as every ballot that will be used on election day and by using the same election definition that will be used on election day.
2. For tabulators that are intended for use at early voting locations, voting centers or polling places and at the central counting center, test the tabulators by using ballot paper that has the same weight and same lengths as every ballot that will be used on election day and by using the same election definition that will be used on election day.
3. For electronic pollbooks, test the electronic pollbooks that will be used on election day by using the same election definition that will be used on election day.
4. For electronic pollbooks used for any election, post within three days after election day on the county recorder's or other election officer's website any audit logs for the electronic pollbooks.
