AN ACT
amending title 11, chapter 3, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 11-453; relating to the sheriff.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 11, chapter 3, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 11-453, to read:
11-453. Sex offender registration fee
A. The sheriff may collect a fee from any person who is required to register pursuant to section 13-3821 and who is not on probation, parole or community supervision. The fee shall be in the following amounts:
1. If the person is a level three offender pursuant to section 13‑3825, fifty dollars.
2. If the person is a level two offender pursuant to section 13-3825, thirty dollars.
B. Any fees collected pursuant to this section shall be used to offset the cost of registering, tracking and verifying the information of a sex offender.
