An act to amend Section 509 of the Military and Veterans Code, relating to California Cadet Corps.

AB 1003, as introduced, Alanis. California Cadet Corps.
Existing law establishes the California Cadet Corps and requires the Adjutant General to fulfill specified responsibilities in overseeing the corps, including providing suitable training regulations and providing for the recreation of cadets.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to these provisions.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 509 of the Military and Veterans Code is amended to read:

509.
 (a) The Adjutant General shall provide suitable training regulations, books and courses of instruction, and the necessary forms for reports or other necessary purposes to be used by the California Cadet Corps. The
(b) The Adjutant General may take such any action as is necessary to promote the general welfare, strength, and morale of the California Cadet Corps and to provide for the recreation of cadets.
