An act relating to water.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

AB 1072, as introduced, Wicks. Water use efficiency.

Existing law requires the State Water Resources Control Board, in conjunction with the Department of Water Resources, to adopt long-term standards for the efficient use of water, as provided, on or before June 30, 2022.

This bill would provide that it is the intent of the Legislature to enact subsequent legislation that will address issues related to water use efficiency.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact subsequent legislation that will address issues related to water use efficiency.
