An act relating to pupil health.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

AB 1283, as introduced, Chen. Pupil health: asthma medication.

Existing law authorizes a school nurse or other designated school personnel to assist any pupil who is required to take, during the regular schoolday, medication prescribed for the pupil by a physician or surgeon if the school district receives specified written statements.

This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact future legislation related to asthma medication.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact future legislation related to asthma medication.
