An act to amend Section 1 of the Family Code, relating to family law.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

AB 2246, as introduced, Ramos. Family law.

Existing law establishes the Family Code, which regulates subjects including, but not limited to, marriage, dissolution and legal separation, custody, domestic violence prevention, and minors.

This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to the provision establishing the Family Code.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.

 Section 1 of the Family Code is amended to read:

 This code shall be known known, and may be cited, as the Family Code.
