Assembly Bill
No. 2434

Introduced by Assembly Member Grayson

February 13, 2024

An act to amend Section 127280.1 of the Health and Safety Code, relating to health planning.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

AB 2434, as introduced, Grayson. Health planning.
Existing law requires health facilities to be charged a fee, as specified, to be used, upon appropriation, for specified health programs. Existing law authorizes up to $200,000 of these funds to be used, upon appropriation, by the State Department of Public Health for data collection on, analysis of, and reporting on, maternal and perinatal outcomes.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.
Vote: MAJORITY   Appropriation: NO   Fiscal Committee: NO   Local Program: NO

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.
