An act to amend Section 210 of the Family Code, relating to family law.


LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


SB 331, as introduced, Rubio. Family law: rules and procedures.
Existing law specifies that the rules of practice and procedure applicable to civil actions generally also apply to and constitute the rules of practice and procedure in family law proceedings.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 210 of the Family Code is amended to read:

210.
 Except to the extent that any other statute or rules rule adopted by the Judicial Council provide provides applicable rules, the rules of practice and procedure applicable to civil actions generally, including the provisions of Title 3a (commencing with Section 391) of Part 2 of the Code of Civil Procedure, apply to, to and constitute the rules of practice and procedure in, in proceedings under this code.
