An act to amend Section 706 of the Public Resources Code, relating to forestry.

Existing law requires the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection to have possession and control of all records, books, papers, offices, equipment, supplies, moneys, funds, appropriations, land, and other property, real or personal, held for the benefit or use of all bodies, offices, and officers whose duties, powers, and functions have been transferred to, and conferred upon, the department.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to this law.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 706 of the Public Resources Code is amended to read:

706.
 The department shall have possession and control of all records, books, books, records, papers, offices, equipment, supplies, moneys, funds, appropriations, land, and other property, real or personal, held for the benefit or use of all bodies, offices, and officers whose duties, powers, and functions have been transferred to, and conferred upon, the department.
