Summary
To (1) decrease the number of years of employment experience an applicant seeking teacher certification for a position at a technical high school shall complete from eight years to five years, (2) require the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection to adopt regulations consistent with the federal Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule, (3) require the Board of Regents for Higher Education to develop a plan to offer certain manufacturing related courses across the state, and (4) establish a task force to develop a program to train inmates for jobs in the manufacturing field.
