AN ACT RESTRICTING LEGISLATIVE LOBBYING BY FORMER STATE EMPLOYEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 1-84b of the general statutes be amended to prohibit any former state employee of a state agency from seeking or accepting employment as a lobbyist of the legislative branch of government within one year of leaving the state agency.
Statement of Purpose:
To impose a one-year moratorium on legislative lobbying by former state employees.
