AN ACT REFORMING THE UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION ACT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 567 of the general statutes be amended to reform the Unemployment Compensation Act by (1) barring the collection of unemployment compensation benefits by individuals who are not current with child support payments or who are incarcerated, (2) restricting the eligibility of individuals who are fired or voluntarily leave their places of employment, and (3) restricting the eligibility of seasonal workers.

Statement of Purpose:

To reform the Unemployment Compensation Act.
