AN ACT CONCERNING TRAVEL EXPENSES FOR NOTARIES PUBLIC.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 3-95 of the general statutes be amended to allow a notary public to charge additional fees for travel expenses, provided such fees are negotiated and agreed upon between the notary and client prior to the commencement of travel.

Statement of Purpose:

To allow notaries public to charge a market-determined fee for traveling expenses.
