AN ACT EXEMPTING MUNICIPAL INSURANCE CONTRACTS AND POLICIES FROM THE INSURANCE PREMIUM TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-202 of the general statutes be amended to exempt municipal insurance contracts and policies from the insurance premium tax.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide relief to towns and cities by reducing health insurance costs.
