AN ACT CONCERNING THE EMPLOYMENT OF CONNECTICUT RESIDENTS IN CERTAIN STATE-FUNDED HEALTH CARE POSITIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require employers, that receive state funds to provide health care services, employ Connecticut residents in positions involving claims processing, customer service and other similar positions.
Statement of Purpose:
To require that state funds expended for health care remain in Connecticut's economy.
