AN ACT CONCERNING COURTHOUSE SECURITY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Chief Court Administrator shall cause an internal review to be made of the security procedures employed at courthouses. Not later than January 1, 2019, said administrator shall make any recommendations resulting from such review for legislation to enhance such security to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes.

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
