AN ACT CONCERNING RECEIPT BY ELECTRONIC MAIL OF MUNICIPAL TAX BILLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit municipalities to provide taxpayers with the option of receiving tax bills by electronic mail.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce costs for municipalities by permitting taxpayers to receive tax bills via e-mail.
