AN ACT CONCERNING ENFORCEMENT AND PREVENTION OF FRAUD IN SOCIAL SERVICES PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 17b-99 of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Social Services, in consultation with the Chief State's Attorney, to identify existing staff and resources that can be dedicated to additional detection, prevention and enforcement of fraud in social services programs.
Statement of Purpose:
To expand fraud prevention and enforcement efforts in social services programs.
