Summary
The Act lets pharmacists prescribe, dispense and administer some medicines. The Act also says some machines have to be registered with the State Board of Pharmacy. (Flesch Readability Score: 60.2). Clarifies that a pharmacist may prescribe, dispense and administer medications for treatment of opioid use disorder. Allows pharmacists to register with the Drug Enforcement Administration of the United States Department of Justice for purposes of prescribing, dispensing and administering medications for treatment of opioid use disorder. Requires certain pharmacy prescription lockers to be registered with the State Board of Pharmacy. Defines "pharmacy prescription locker." Takes effect on the 91st day following adjournment sine die.
