AN ACT REQUIRING THE STATE BOARD OF EXAMINERS FOR NURSING TO JOIN THE NURSE LICENSURE COMPACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 20-88 of the general statutes be amended to require the State Board of Examiners for Nursing to join the Nurse Licensure Compact by October 1, 2013.
Statement of Purpose:
To expand employment opportunities for nurses by requiring that the state join the Nurse Licensure Compact.
