AN ACT PERMITTING STATE RESIDENTS TO PURCHASE HEALTH INSURANCE FROM FOREIGN INSURERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit residents of this state to purchase health insurance from insurers domiciled in other states, provided such insurers are in compliance with all applicable laws and requirements of their domiciliary states.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide residents of this state access to additional health insurance plans by permitting residents to purchase health insurance from insurers domiciled in other states.
