AN ACT LIMITING THE USE OF THE EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 28-28a of the general statutes be amended to permit the use of the Emergency Notification System, which uses the emergency 9-1-1 system, only in life-threatening emergencies.
Statement of Purpose:
To limit the use of the Emergency Notification System, also known as reverse 9-1-1, to life-threatening emergencies.
