AN ACT ESTABLISHING A PILOT PROGRAM ALLOWING A TAX CREDIT AGAINST THE HOSPITAL TAX FOR HOSPITALS THAT PROVIDE SERVICES TO PERSONS SUFFERING FROM OPIOID ADDICTION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to establish a pilot program to allow a tax credit against the taxes imposed on hospitals for hospitals that make beds available for the purpose of providing services to persons suffering from opioid addiction.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide an incentive for hospitals to make services available to persons suffering from opioid addiction.
