AN ACT CONCERNING PUBLIC HEALTH QUARANTINE LAWS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to overhaul the quarantine laws and permit the Department of Public Health to issue public health orders mandating the quarantine of, isolation of or other public health restrictions on an individual under certain circumstances.

Statement of Purpose:

To revise the statutes governing quarantine, isolation or other public health restriction.
