AN ACT REQUIRING THE CANCELLATION OF A TELEPHONE LINE USED FOR FRAUDULENT PURPOSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the cancellation of a telephone number or line used for fraudulent purposes.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect consumers from future scams by cancelling telephone numbers or lines used for fraudulent purposes.
