AN ACT CONCERNING STATE SERVICES FOR SMALL BUSINESSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Economic and Community Development to develop a program that assigns staff to work directly with small businesses to assess their needs, identify programs and state organizations to address those needs, and arrange services on behalf of the businesses.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide one-stop shopping for state services to new and existing small businesses.
