AN ACT CONCERNING HOMELESS AND UNACCOMPANIED MINOR CONSENT TO PRIMARY CARE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to allow minors who are homeless or not in the physical custody of their parent or legal guardian to consent to outpatient, primary care services in the state, provided the minor is living separate and apart from their parent or guardian and is seeking noninvasive medical care.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide greater access to primary care services to homeless and unaccompanied minors.
