AN ACT CONCERNING VOTING BY ABSENTEE BALLOT IN MUNICIPAL REFERENDA.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide that, notwithstanding any town charter or interlocal agreement, towns that hold any referendum on any matter do so with sufficient time for voters to apply for, be issued and return an absentee ballot.
Statement of Purpose:
To facilitate voting by absentee ballot in municipal referenda.
