AN ACT CONCERNING STATE EMPLOYEES AND VIOLENCE IN THE WORKPLACE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Administrative Services to submit an annual report to the Governor and the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to public employees summarizing the number of complaints of workplace violence or abusive conduct involving state employees.

Statement of Purpose:

To require the Department of Administrative Services to report the number of complaints of abusive conduct in the workplace between state employees to the General Assembly.
