AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR SUSTAINABILITY FOR SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 173 of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Administrative Services to set aside an additional twenty-five per cent of a town's school building project grant for the purposes of sustainability and maintenance of a school that has just been newly constructed or renovated.
Statement of Purpose:
To authorize an additional twenty-five per cent of a town's school construction grant for the purposes of sustainability and maintenance of a school that has just been built or renovated.
