AN ACT PROVIDING AN INCOME TAX EXEMPTION FOR MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES AND THEIR SPOUSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to exempt from the state income tax the income of any member of the armed forces and such member's spouse for any years in which such member serves in a combat zone.
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt from the state income tax the income of any member of the armed forces and such member's spouse for any years in which such member serves in a combat zone.
