AN ACT CONCERNING USE OF THE PETROLEUM GROSS RECEIPTS TAX FOR TRANSPORTATION PROJECTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that all revenue generated by the petroleum gross receipts tax must be used to fund transportation projects and cannot be used for general fund expenditures.
Statement of Purpose:
To require that all revenue generated from the gross receipts tax on petroleum be used to fund transportation projects.
